James, our guide, was outstanding! He is part geologist, history teacher, entertainer and storyteller extraordinaire. The tour included numerous stops including; fairy pools, Ben Nevis, Talisker Distillery, The Bridge to Hogwarts, and Fort William among the too many others to mention here At each stop there was a story to tell about the stop. The bus was captivated with James’ suspenseful storytelling of; Fairies, (Un)Seelies, Mary “Queen of Scotts”, William Wallace, and Robert D’Bruce, etc. A 5 star experience for sure.

Overall is good. Fairy glen was closed, extremely sad, since was not told beforehand. little to no shopping. wish could go to culloden and inverness. B and B was great. Driver lots of info, talked alot about birds, a little boring when he got off topic. but tour still good.

The 3-day Isle of Skye and Scottish Highlands Small-group tour is wonderful. The arrangement is great, especially our tour guide Arron, he is the best! He took care of every one, make sure everyone is engaded and having fun. He is so knowledgeable and shared with us Scottish culture. He has a great selection of music and matched the music with scenary and mood, which is so amazing!!! He introduced us to a very good restaurant to try Scottish food, which is very delicious and of great value. Arron made the whole trip fun and enjoyable. I cannot say enough good words about Rabbies and Arron. Highly recommended!!!!!!

These tours are always a balance between in depth and a taste. First, it's 5 hours to Skye without any stops so that leaves little time on the way. The visit to ft william leaves little time but for lunch. We had chosen the Rosedale hotel and by dumb luck it was great. Nestled on the bay in Portree and a nice restaurant made it a nice place to spend 2 nights. Day 2 was a whirlwind of beautiful vistas. If you want time out of bus to take a short hike, not happening. Not saying this is bad, just managing expectations. Day 3 is long day back to Edinburgh with some short stops and lunch by Loch Ness. Our guide Pete was entertaining and personable. Weather is always an issue in Scotland and he took that into account on day 2 to maximize our experience. Personally would have liked some longer/fewer stops. The tour was full and since the others were of different ages, nationalities, and physical abilities, it is probably the best average to be expected. Rabbies has years of experience did they have this down to a science. We loved Skye and are glad to have had our taste and appreciate Pete's dedication to making sure everyone enjoyed themselves.

Rabbie's surpassed our expectations. Our driver and tour guide was knowledgeable, well tempered and funny. A great combination when first visiting the Scottish Highlands

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Skye. The guide was one of the best we have ever had. She (Catty) was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun to travel with. I can't say enough about her. Would book again in a minute - especially if she is the guide.

Wonderful trip! Saw so much of the countryside and beauty that Scotland has to offer. My only thought and why I couldn't give 5 stars was because of the stops on the way back. I felt there were a few cute towns we could have stopped in vs. coop stops and parks (that weren't very clean and congested or offered limited food offerings). Small towns give the flavor of the area and would be beneficial to the shop owners in the area to have tourists visiting. Our bed and breakfast, Tongadale and restaurants in Portree were lovely. James was a good guide, but I felt that when asked, where our next stop was, he was a bit evasive. He did have a good sense of humor and otherwise, full of information.

We booked this three day tour after a three day Viking extension in Edinburgh. Met at the Rabbe's tour office and were checked in quickly. There were 14 people on the mini coach and the driver/guide. Kudos to Eric- the driver/guide/host and source of so much knowledge about the many sites we saw.
The nice thing about a tour this size is that you get to know other people o n the bus, and it's small enough to be able to visit places that large coaches can't go. We saw many wonderful sites- too numerous to mention- but suffice it say that the geography of Skye is everything that you can imagine and more. The stay is Portree is charming and interesting as it's a very small community with limited hotel options which makes it that much more fun. What's interesting is that it could grow to handle more tourists but chooses to stay small and authentic.
Highly recommend this trip and if you are lucky enough to have Eric as the driver, your trip will be in for a real treat.
