After making your own way to the Baan Teelanka, aka the Upside Down House, have your cameras ready as you enter into a world that turns you on your head.

Walking into the three-story house, which rests on its peaked roof, you might feel disoriented as everything looks completely normal, except that you are looking up to the ceiling at furniture, toys and even a fish tank, items that would normally be firmly planted on the ground.

Like Alice in Wonderland, gaze in awe as you wander around the house’s three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Even the fish appear to swim upside down in two aquariums. In this upside down world, you can appear to do a handstand while riding a bike, hold up a sofa with your bare hands or cling to the “ceiling” like Spider-Man.

Friendly staff stationed around the house offer suggestions for photos that make the best use of the mind-boggling surroundings and can even take pictures of you if they have time.

Upstairs on the third floor, explore the utility room and admire the tuk-tuk parked above you in the garage. From the windows you can look out over the A-Maze Garden, located in back of the house. Visit the maze with the purchase a separate ticket for more fun at this unusual attraction.

You have the option to purchase a cool drink or a bite to eat at the on-site cafe, which features shaded tables where you can relax and refresh. When you are ready, make your way to your next destination.
