Discover Carmelo and visit three renewed wineries for wine tastings of a variety of wines, including the famous Tannat grape.

First you will visit one of the oldest and most important wineries in Uruguay. The winery has 590 acres and is 100 years old. You will be guided by one of the owners and have the chance to taste different wines.

After, make your way to a smaller winery, restored from a 1900 warehouse. You will be offered a very nice cold lunch consisting of different cold meats like ham and salami, and several kinds of cheese and homemade jams. Wine tasting will include four different wines.

The last winery you will visit is a boutique winery producing great quality wines and very few bottles each year (less than 3000).
Taste fine wines paired with local cheese, ham and homemade bread.

The private tour of the winery will give you the opportunity to talk to the winemakers and share experiences with them, walk through the vineyards and eat some grapes in season.
