The shuttle is comfortable and gets you on the track in 25 minutes. Departs at 8am from National Park Village located in the foothills of the Dual Heritage Tongariro National Park. The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is classed as the best one day hike in New Zealand and in the top 6 hikes in the world. Its a one way trail starting at Mangatepopo and the end of the trail is Ketatahi road end. You can be picked up at the end of your hike for your trip back to National Park Village from Ketatahi road end at either 1.30-2.30-3.30-4.30-6pm
