Your walk will begin at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery at approximately 10am. You will proceed to visit local Oneroa art galleries including an artists’ collective, the community art gallery and an artist goldsmith. During this, you can hear from either the artists, or gallery staff, who will teach you about the pieces and be there to answer your questions.
Then, visit the local sculpture park where you can observe the work and learn about the sculptures. Proceed to visit the studios of a glass artist, an artisan shoemaker, and a painter.
Enjoy lunch at Church Bay studio, the spectacular home and studio of Gabriella Lewenz overlooking Church Bay. Walk back through the Atawhai-Whenua Forest and Bird Reserve to the Community Gallery where the tour will finish.
