You will meet famous horses that featured in the movie trilogy The Hobbit as well as movies 10,000BC and Warriors Way! You?will experience the beauty of Waiheke Island from the back of one of these amazing horses!? You will get mounted and set out on a guided horse ride?along some of Waiheke's?beautiful white sandy beaches, you will also experience along the way lovely bush tracks with stunning views?and some historical landscapes including Piritahi Marae.? The departure time for this experience is flexible and the route can change depending on the tides. Our base is?located at 66 Onetangi Road on Waiheke Island,?however for this ride we come to you! You will be met at the ferry terminal by your equine mount and we will get started right away. As well as beaches we pass cafe's and shops along the way and award winning winery's Mudbrick and Cable Bay all close by to enjoy a meal and a tasting after your horse ride.
