My wife and I took this tour while visiting NZ recently. Overall the tour was OK but could have been much better if the focus was on actually on Waitomo and Rotorua. Instead, a great deal of time was spent dropping off/picking up visitors at many other less significant attractions. As it turned out, our time at the caves was limited as we were hurried through by the guide and strongly encouraged to keep moving. Worse than this, we only got to spend about 15 minutes at the actual geothermal site at Te Puia in Rotorua - very disappointing as we expected this to be the highlight of the tour. When finally there, our group was only allowed onto a small foot bridge at the arrival point to the mud beds and geysers. We were not allowed to go further despite there being more interesting viewing platforms and pathways. My advice would be to eliminate many of the stops between the 2 main destinations to allow more time at each. Furthermore, at Te Puia, shorten the length to the Cultural Performance and eliminate the tour of the Kiwi House altogether. Given the cost of the tour and our experience, we cannot recommend it.

Enjoyed the caves. Meeting the bus was a little confusing as the meeting point was at the bus terminal. This was a large group tour but well organized

This was truly a wonderful experience! My husband and I really liked the Glow worm caves tour and the entire tour at the Maori Cultural Arts center. When you think about how Mother Nature creates these special places for us to see is pretty amazing. The boat ride in the cave while being steered in the dark by an employee under the glow worms was like you were in another world. This is definitely a must see when visiting NZ! Racheal our driver was the highlight! She was very knowledgeable about the history of NZ and shared her experiences living there. Racheal kept us entertained throughout the entire ride. By far this was one of the best tours I have ever been on. I highly suggest booking this tour!!

The places we visited were absolutely fantastic, but the tour was hectic. I.e. our guide was pushing to hurry up all the time. At the end, we had very little time to see Rotorua, because of scheduled return time. But we came back to Auckland in fact 15 mins before schedule. I believe, 15 mins extra in Rotorua would be very valuable e.g. maybe I would manage to see kiwi or a store, which I had no time for.

THis is a fun tour and very educational.Well worth the money.

Our driver/guide was Rachael, and we were very entertained by the informative and amusing dialogue along the way. The glowworm cave was unbelievable, and the geysers and the geothermal mud pits are a must see for New Zealand. We also did the Agrodome, and the sheep sheering and rounding up were great. I do wish we had more time at each site rather than such a rush that we didn't even have time to look at the gift shops. Overall, we truly enjoyed this tour, and recommend it to anyone, including families with kids who are at least grade school age.

The places this tour went were great, but going there with over 50 people was not. There wasn't enough time to really enjoy the tour locations either. I felt rushed the whole day. The bus driver / tour guide, Rachael, was wonderful.

great day but a little hurried. driver was very knowledgeable. a little longer at the geysers would havery been good and would have been worth getting back 30min later.

This tour was AMAZING!!! Our driver, Kenny was fabulous and Shane at the farm was hilarious and kind. I will definitely suggest this tour to my fellow travelers as a must do! Thank you for a great time. Dana Duffie
