The SILT, a Tourist Services cooperative operating in Sardinia since 1985 and based in Alghero, manages the main archaeological sites of Alghero: the nuragic complex of Palmavera and the necropolis of Anghelu Ruju - sites open every day of the year (except for December 25th) and can be visited with a combined ticket. In addition, the Tetrapods Tomb of the Santu Pedru necropolis is also managed, where a guided tour can be arranged on request.We provide services of a touristic nature, with particular attention to the cultural and naturalistic aspect. With us you can book excursions to Alghero and surroundings or tours with customized formulas for several days and guided tours to the beautiful archaeological sites of Anghelu Ruju and Santu Pedru, two necropolis of the Stone Age, and the Nuraghe Palmavera, sites that we manage from different years.

The nuragic complex of Palmavera is composed of blocks of limestone and sandstone and consists of a central body with two towers, a rampart and a village of about fifty huts. The village was built during three phases and the oldest structures date back to the 15th century BC. The part of the village that is visible today is only a quarter of its entirety at the time of the Bronze Age, in fact the original huts of the village are about two hundred. Among the most interesting elements of this site, we must first name the meeting hut, which is the largest of the whole complex with a political-religious role. Inside there is a model of nuraghe and a unicum of the Nuragic civilization, or the cylindrical seat-throne in sandstone.
