Explore the Lake Como region by bike, visiting some of Italy's most beautiful towns including Bellagio and Como. Hitch a ride up Mount Generoso on the mountain train and experience the downhill thrill from the top. You can also visit the chapel of Madonna del Ghisallo, the patron saint of cycling, an unusual church full of cycling memorabilia.
The first day will start with an airport transfer to Como and a warm up ride along the shores of Lake Como. After a night's rest you will cycle across the Swiss border to Lugano to take the short train ride to the top of Mount Generoso. From there you will cycle downhill to Como. On your third day it will be time to take on the climbing challenge of the Madonna del Ghisallo chapel. On your final day you will be transferred back to the airport or have the option to extend your vacation and visit Milan, Verona or Venice.
The holiday will include three night's accommodation in 3 and 4 star hotels along with breakfast for three days. All necessary maps and a full route briefing for your self guided cycling. Plus your airport transfers to and from Milan.
