I really enjoyed this tour. Amanuela (sp?) was our guide and she was great. Very informative and had a very sweet and funny personality. When I asked her about her experience, she said she's been doing these tours for 9 years, so I knew we were in good hands. She told us exactly what was going to happen during the tour and even though we were seeing the "highlights" of Pompeii - we gained a lot of knowledge from it. We had beautiful weather for Pompeii but it was more cloudy and cooler on Mt. Vesuvius. The climb to the top is definitely worth it (but also a bit of a challenge)! Overall - if you have a free day on the Amalfi Coast - I recommend this tour 100%.

This tour was well planned and very interesting. They arrived on time. Carmela was good tour guide with lots of information. Time was spent wisely seeing all the highlight. The walk up Vesuvius was a little challenging but definitely a must! They really could do without the pizza stop not worth it.

We met the bus at Pompeii because it was much less of a drive for us. The bus was on time. Our guide was very good. The only thing that might have been better was the weather. It was very hot and there is no cover within the ruins. That aside, it was an amazing experience walking through the ruins learning about their way of life, the diverse population, etc. The ride up to Mt. Vesuvius was a learning experience as were able to see the ash that covered the mountainside as we drove up. Many of us sat at the little cafe/gift shop as others climbed to the crater. Returning to Pompeii, we had lunch at a restaurant. It was clean and cool but the lunch could have been a bit more interesting. We were at long tables - the servers brought plates of slices of pizza. There were four of us at the end of table. The plate given us by the server had three slices of pizza. Later they brought another plate with three more slices. This service could be a bit better. Overall, a wonderful guide and tour.

My family loved Pompeii. It was a very hot day and there isn't much shade so you need to be prepared to sweat a little (a lot), but its worth it. So cool to see an actual Roman city and walk the streets like they did. The hike of Mt Vesuvius is a little daunting if you aren't in shape, so be for warned, but the view a the to is tremendous and really puts this whole story into perspective. Our guide was great, as always.

We had a great time! Our guide Annalisa was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. I feel we had ample time to see the highlights of Pompeii even though you could spend days there. Lunch after Pompeii was fantastic and more than I expected. There was plenty of time at Vesuvius to take everything in, get some souvenirs for the kids, and enjoy some local wine. That is of course, if you are adequately conditioned. Anyone with difficulty hiking would not have enough time to enjoy everything.

Enjoyable, informative tour through Pompeii with a very kind, knowledgeable tour guide, Annalisa who made it fun! The short hike up Mt Vesuvius offers panoramic views - highly recommended.
