The largest aquarium in the Adriatic is housed in buildings from the 1930s, whose shapes recall a naval fleet. The aquarium, renewed inside and out, opens with thousands of new species of fish, new themes and the a new exhibition, "Abysses, alien's land". With over 100 display tanks, the Aquarium offers four completely covered paths that host more than 3 thousand specimens of 400 different species (including penguins, otters, stingrays, jellyfish, chameleons and other marine and terrestrial animals).
