Diocletian, a revolutionary emperor, fearless, but also more brutal than its predecessors, built a huge palace in the centre of Split. Today, this well-preserved palace is not only the centre of the city but is also a part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage and is kind of a trademark of the city. The palace will be just one of our stops during our walks around the city.
