Our tour-guide was on time the church is interesting, the hike on the edge of the waterfalls was amazing, but to short. You sit in the car very long, i would have liked more walking.

This tour was absolutely worth it! I felt like a movie star in the comfortable van with a great driver and a fantastic tour guide. The drive out of Addis south really highlights the beauty of the Rift Valley and is itself a sight to see on this tour. The stone church is not like the ones north, it's more rugged and unfinished but still very interesting. The cemetery of warriors was very interesting and a real mysterious place. It made me want to research more about these long-lost people. Lunch was at a hotel on the way back and very good.
The highlight of this trip, however, is the coffee ceremony at a local village. I don't want to spoil it too much but get ready for a very local, authentic experience that will really make you feel like an Ethiopian. It was the highlight in fact of my entire trip to Ethiopia.
