Elafonisi "deer island" is an island located close to the southwestern corner of the Mediterranean island of Crete, of which it is administratively a part, in the regional unit of Chania. When the weather is fine it is possible to walk to the island through the shallow water. The island is a protected nature reserve. We turn towards south into the heart of Crete. In Elafonisi, the south westerly point of Crete, you will have time to swim in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach and its surrounding nature.

    We had difficulty with meeting the bus at the designated pick up point. I would suggest that anyone using the travel tours in Crete use a hotel for the pick up point. however after many calls a cab was dispatched to pick us up and reunite us with our bus. The day trip through the White Mountains was very nice and the beach is very nice...get their early as the sunbeds get occupied early.

    The beech was indeed beautiful however we paid 190 Euros for this trip for me my husband 13 and 11 year old only to be told on the trip day itself this did not include boat tickets we ended up having to pay another 68 euro out of the limited money we had brought for food awful we were not made aware
