Our escape for the dreamy sunset starts in the afternoon. We head west and our first stop is a local awarded winery where we will enjoy a guided tour in all the areas of the winery(production,storage,bottling areas) and a visit to the cellar. Following we will enjoy the wine tasting at the wine museum and admire the breathtaking view on the veranda, overlooking the gulf of Kisamos.
A few kilometers away we'll reach the western town of the island,the only town with two names Kasteli or Kisamos. Here we will enjoy a short walk to meet the town.
Our escape continues through the small,picturesque villages and takes us to our last and main stop. Falassarna is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and one of the most famous destinations of the whole island.Here we will have the chance to admire the most wonderful,the best sunset of Western Crete. How could this not be the best,when being in such an amazing landscape and there is no obstacle between the beach and the horizon?Be prepared. Take your camera with you!
