Meenakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to Parvathi, lord Shiva's wife. Built during 1623 to 1655 CE and known to host an estimated 33,000 sculptures, it was one of the top 30 nominees of the 'New Seven Wonders of the World'. And the notable 'Thousand Pillared Hall'.
