The driver will pick you up at your chosen place in Fukuoka city at 09:00 to take you to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, a national park across Hakata Bay with great views of central Fukuoka. You will have an ample two hours to explore the park which is popular for flower viewing, cycling and leisure activities including an aquarium, a zoo and outdoor swimming pools.

Head back into the city where it's time for lunch at Yanagibashi Rengo fish market, known as the 'pantry of Hakata'. You are free to choose where you would like to eat from the range of eateries on site.

After lunch, enjoy a spot of culture at Kushida Shrine, the most important shrine in the city. Try your hand at fortune-telling ('omikuji') where, for 50 yen, you will receive a piece of paper with your fortune written on it for the upcoming year. If you are lucky to be in the area in early to mid July, you can also enjoy the Yamakasa Gion Matsuri, the biggest festival in Fukuoka, which is held at the shrine.

The tour wraps up with shopping at Canal City Hakata, an entertainment complex spread over five floors on either side of an artificial canal with over 250 shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, a cinema and more. If you're a ramen fan, make sure to visit "Ramen Stadium" on the fifth floor.

Return to your chosen drop-off point in central Fukuoka around 17:00.
