Minimum age is 6 years

Please bring swimsuit, sunscreen, a towel and a change of clothes, as you will be able to take a shower afterwards

A small amount of walking is involved; please wear comfortable walking shoes

No kayaking experience is necessary

You will receive a booklet with descriptions of the attractions and tour itinerary at the tour office located in the Ishigaki Port ferry terminal

You will be asked to wear a life jacket while kayaking for safety purposes

Tour may be cancelled due to poor weather conditions (in this case, the local operator will notify you one hour prior to departure time)

The local operator reserves the right to refuse the participation in a tour if the person not fit for health conditions

Please note: tours begin in Ishigaki and not Okinawa

Not wheelchair accessible

Near public transportation

Not recommended for travelers with back problems

Not recommended for pregnant travelers

No heart problems or other serious medical conditions

Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

The tour operators were really comprehensive: anything you needed, from waterproof bags to water shoes, was available for free. Lunch was good, too! I ended up with a private tour for the kayaking portion and it was truly excellent. My guide was nice, well-informed, and loved talking about the area. I'd absolutely do it again.
