Learn more about sake through home of the biggest sake production in the world; Kobe city. A guide is a friendly sake connoisseur that is very excited about taking you on this eye-opening experience. Meeting at Ishiyagawa station on the Hanshin Line (depending on booking time), we will make our way to a map near the station to familiarize ourselves with the locations of the breweries. First brewery, introduces us to the sake that has been served at the Nobel Prize banquet 5 times in the past. Founded in 1751, this 250 year-old brewery produces many variety of sake although they are considered an average size company. Walking over to our second brewery, it is one of the smallest breweries that is in Kobe. Since it's size is quite small, production quality is something to be expected when visiting this special brewery. Also founded over 250 years ago, this place produces a sake in a very traditional manner, which is rare to find in this time and age. Not too far from the second brewery, our third stop is at the world's biggest sake production brewery. We will visit it's museum, where I will explain to you how sake is made traditionally with video aid to help you understand better. Its signature brown bottle and red label is surely something that you will recognize as it is imported all over the world. Finally, we will visit, what is considered, another small brewery with something that will give you a new outlook on traditional sake. They produce very traditional sake as well as innovative sake. They come up with new creative ideas to bring out different flavors from sake. If we're lucky, we will meet this brewery's legend who's worked along side this place for 63 years in counting.
