Your taxi driver meets you at your designated meeting point in Nagoya at around 4:15pm. Drive to the sushi bar where your guide will be waiting for you.
Meet the chef and start making sushi as soon as you wash your hands and put on an apron. This is a special opportunity for you to step behind the sushi counter and learn from a real sushi chef. Although it may look easy to make nigiri sushi and maki (rolls), it is not. But don't hesitate to ask questions or talk to the sushi chef as your guide will translate everything into English.
After the hour-long sushi making experience, sit down to a dinner of your own handmade creations, as well as some sushi and sashimi the sushi chef has prepared. During your meal, the chef and your guide, who serves as a translator, are happy to talk about sushi, Japanese food, or anything else you may be curious about. Enjoy spending time with them.
After dinner, get dropped off back at your original departure point at about 7:30pm.
