Our tour starts from JR Takayama Station.This is Takayama-based, round trip tour. In 50 minutes on the way to Shirakawa-go, friendly and informative English-speaking guide explains what to see, how to spend in the village with its very unique Gassho style houses. So we believe that it is plenty of time to stay. First take photos from the observation point overlooking entire village,then enjoy strolling leisurely. Looking inside a few of Gassho style houses opening to the public for a fee is a good idea to experience how people traditionally lived, and continue to live in this rural area of Japan. Tour fare ( 4400yen for adult, 4000yen for child) includes a stop at the observation but please note that you are not allowed to go directly during the period from December to March due to snow.
