Pretty happy with it but wasn't wowed

Tour advertised as 9 hours, 4 islands with white sand beaches, snorkeling gear included. I selected this over a cheaper 7-hour, 3-island, gear-not-included tour.

I got 7 hours, 3 islands, and had to rent equipment. And no water or other drinks provided I had to buy water. Reef shoes are almost required, which wasn't mentioned in the tour description, but no worries! You can rent those, too!

I asked the tour guide about the discrepancy, and his only response was Sorry for the misunderstanding. I can't do anything about it. I tried contacting the tour company after the tour, and they wouldn't answer.

Apart from that snafu, I also was underwhelmed by the tour. The first stop was on a small trampled, dead reef. Plenty of fish, drawn there by the bread you have to buy that, too to feed them. The smallish beach was moderately clean, but go beyond the roped off area and trash littered the shore.

The second stop was similar: smallish fenced off area for swimming with adequate fish but bring your bread, which we can sell you. Lunch was provided and was decent tasting for these types of tours. But the kitchen had trouble keeping the buffet stocked you'd think they'd figure it out given the same volume of people come every single day. Several items ran out and were never restocked inadequate quantities of something new were added.

Last stop at a resort-type island for swimming, snorkeling, water sports, etc. Beyond the 100 yards of roped off beach, trash was everywhere. I wandered down the beach just a few feet beyond the roped area and had to deal with an old TV tube, plastic, paper, metal beams, fiberglass paneling, and more. I was finally chased back to the roped off area by a sign screaming DO NO ENTER! And of course, everything was for rent. Want a table with a tent over it? You can rent it.

All the beaches were brownish mid-grain sand. Not the white sand described and not the powdery sand implied.

In short, I made the best of the day and enjoyed it I'm not one to let dissatisfaction get in the way of things I can enjoy. But the tour was overpriced, didn't deliver as promised, was disappointing in its lack of ecological sensitivity, lacked basic client considerations really? no water?, and demanded more money for every little item needed.

N.B. I also contacted Viator via their customer service email it was bounced back as undeliverable and their online customer service form about the issues. Never heard anything from them. :-

Amazing trip for the day, definitely share this experience with my sisters.

A great day of Island hopping, all went well from hotel pick up on time, Hire of snorkel gear was hired on the way, cost 150php for mask and snorkel and 150php for booties, I recommend you hire the booties as it makes it easy to walk on the coral and stones. We went to 3 different islands all good, great fish when snorkelling, again a very good buffet lunch, plenty of choice, another great day trip
