Food and friends - two important words that play an immense role in Thai society. The concept of dining and socializing with new people, sharing a meal and a good laugh is embedded in the DNA of many Thai nationals. After all, a stranger is a friend you haven’t met. This dining, socializing and talking about what’s served has found its way to Koh Samui  aptly named the Thai Experience, this is not your ordinary evening with dinner and each other’s company. Over a period of 4 hours, foreign and Thai chefs will talk, explain and share their secrets behind an ever-expanding selection of dishes that are served while you and others share the same table. Tasting, trying out and venturing into a new concept of social dining, this evening may set the pace to meet new friends. An evening-filled program that will definitely set new heights in communal fine dining at one of Thailand’s most tropical islands.
A joint transfer from your booked accommodation on Samui (conditions may apply) to the Thai Experience House is the start of an evening, filled with excellent food, great company and talking about whatever is brought to the table. The ultimate dinner party commences by being welcomed by the team behind the Thai Experience who will guide you to the communal dining area. The venue is a custom-built dining room, set up to accommodate a maximum of 21 guests where no less than 16 different dishes, divided over 4 different courses will be served. Each dish comes with a story, not only explaining the ingredients but perhaps with a history or an anecdote  above all, as soon as the first dishes arrive and you enjoy the cocktails included, the laughs and fun begins with your fellow ‘diners’.
The intimate setting of the Thai Experience allows guests to easily talk and share thoughts with each other while enjoying the prepared dishes. Part of the evening is not only trying out what is served, but also getting a hands-on introduction on how to make cocktails…with a free flow of your own brew until departure. If cocktails are not your thing, other alcoholic beverages may substitute this, according to the dining policy. As food takes centre stage, you also may try your luck in preparing some local dishes, adding more fun and laughs to the evening.
As the night comes to an end, we guarantee that you will have an evening to remember, but also made new friends. The transfer back to your hotel is included and is expected to arrive at your Samui resort around 23:00 hrs.
